Birds Spotted in Camp John Hay, Baguio

On a sunny day in January, a group of three bird enthusiasts spent 30 minutes observing the avifauna in Camp John Hay, Baguio. Led by Christiane Oriana, the group had a productive session, spotting six different species of birds in their immediate environment.
The birds they were able to identify include the Eurasian Moorhen, Common Kingfisher, Philippine Hanging-Parrot, Philippine Jungle Crow, Tawny Grassbird, and Eurasian Tree Sparrow. The Eurasian Tree Sparrow was seen thrice during the brief observation period.
The observations took place in a small area of approximately 0.46 km, showcasing the richness of bird life in the region.
