On a bright January morning, a group of birding enthusiasts embarked on a 1-hour 11-minute adventure at the picturesque Sidlakan Resort in Infanta, Quezon, Philippines. The team, led by Chris Lotz of Birding Ecotours, was joined by Frank Murphy and other enthusiastic birders, resulting in an impressive species count of 16 birds.
The report highlights some fascinating sightings, including the Amethyst Brown-Dove, which made a solo appearance, and the Philippine Pygmy Woodpecker, making itself scarce with a single sighting.
