The park's lower slopes also hosted a variety of songbirds, with the Barred Rail, Buff-banded Rail, and Gray-streaked Flycatcher all put in appearances.
A striking feature of the trip was the diversity of bird species, with birds ranging from the tiny Ameline Swiftlet to the larger Philippine Hanging-Parrot. Other notable birds included the Black-naped Monarch, Brown Shrike, Long-tailed Shrike, and Philippine Jungle Crow.
The trip also provided glimpses of more aerial creatures, including the Pacific Swallow and the Pied Bushchat. Meanwhile, the Tawny Grassbird, Striated Grassbird, and Paddyfield Pipit catered to the seed-crunching contingent.
